I served with Ellis D. Thomas (Sumo) in the Navy aboard the IWO JIMA. I was his division lead. He was my best friend. I lost touch eventually and recently found his obituary.
I am sorry for your loss. But remember Its not yours only. He will be in my prayers as well. I have missed him over the years and will keep him in my memories. God Bless you all.

Sorry to hear of your lost The Bible give much comfort and lessen the sorrow and grief. For it tells us why we are dying and the hope for the dead.
Romans 5:12 tells us why man is dying. John 5:29,29 gives hope for the dead. Finally Isa 25:8,9 tells of a time when death will be swallowed up. I encourage you to read the Bible, always go to God in prayer.

I am sorry to learn of the death of your beloved family member. Jehovah God made a promise to us all at Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.
