Jesse James Feggins, Jr.

Jesse James Feggins, Jr. was born on January 10, 1975 to Jesse, Sr. and Janie Feggins in Birmingham, AL. Jesse grew up in the Overton area of Birmingham and attended Shades Valley High School. After graduation he attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for two years and followed his desire to open his own landscaping business (Legend Lawn Care.) Jesse had a big heart and loved all of his friends. He never met a stranger. He was also known for his community outreach efforts and spent many years coaching youth football and AAU basketball where he touched many lives in Irondale, AL. He loved being outdoors experiencing nature. In addition to his sport activities, he was very active in his church where began his close walk with Christ. He was baptized on October 1, 2017 at Greater Faith Outreach Church of Jacksonville, AL. Jesse departed this life on September 1, 2018.
    He is preceded in death by his best friend, Nezariah Mccain. He will be greatly missed and he leaves to cherish his loving memories: His parents, Jesse, Sr. and Janie Feggins (Birmingham, AL); The Love of his life, Angelica Collins (Anniston, AL); Children: Nazjha Feggins, Kristen Collins, and Alexis Collins (all of Bessemer, AL); Grandchildren: Caleb Burrell, Jaylon Burt, Allyson Posey, Clifford Konah, III, Greyson Turner, Zoey Posey, and Liam Posey (all of Bessemer, AL); Siblings: Lonnie Terry, Leotis Terry, Willie Terry, Gloria Terry, Alesia Feggins Waltonand Tawanda Feggins Heard ( all of Birmingham, AL), Ima Lamar (Georgia) and Janice Diggins (California); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins aunts, uncles, and Friends.
