Laura Lee Weary

Ms. Laura Lee Weary of Pleasant Grove, AL. entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2019. She was born November 5, 1933 to George and Mattie Davis Weary, Sr. Sge graduated from Hooper City High School. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Joy Baptist Church then moving to Eastern Star Baptist Church in New Castle, AL. Later in life she joined West End Hills Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dennis L. Brown. She was employed as an L.P.N. at the Jefferson County Health Department until she had a disabling accident. Laura was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was always willing to listen and offer help at all times. There wasn't anything she could'nt handle by telephone. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and loving daughter, Sharon Weary Henderson; Siblings, Raymond (Margharet) Weary and Mattie W. Daniels; Granddaughters, April Weary and Avelyn (Byron) Smith; Great-Grandchildren, Byron, Jr. and Aliyah Smith; Special sister/cousin, Virgie W. Murray; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends.
