Virginia Lee Stephens was born January 15, 1945 in Elmore County to the late Earnest and Vinnie Robinson.
She confessed Christ at an early age and later joined in membership with Twenty-Third Street Baptist
Church (Southside).
She obtained her education as a student in the Birmingham City School System where she attended
Lane Elementary and Ullman High School.
Virginia held a steady career with Ouslers Sandwich Company in Birmingham, Alabama. She was known
to family and friends for her famous potato and chicken salad. Not only did she provide the best salads,
but also the best laughs.
Virginia was joined in union with Willie Stephens. In this union they were blessed with one daughter and
two sons.
She departed her life here on earth on September 4, 2017 to enter into a new life where she will be rejoined
with her parents Earnest and Vinnie Robinson; son Reginald Robinson; Brothers Earnest and Willie Robinson;
Sister Shirley Lanier, and one nephew.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband, Willie Stephens; Son, Walter Robinson; Daughter, Lolita Stephens.
Two Sisters Annie Kennedy, and Jannie Maxwell; sister-in-law, Rosie Cameron; brother-in-law, Victor Lanier; Aunts,
Bessie Nunn and Jimmie Nunn all from Birmingham, AL. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
