Vivian Poole Brown, 33, was born February 15, I985 to Elder James Poole and the late Evelyn Dumas Poole in Opelika, Alabama. She was youngest of five siblings.
Vivian attended Loachapoka High School in Lee County. Following graduation, Vivian continued her education at Wallce Community College where she played basketball and studied sports medicine. She then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree. She was gainfully employed with Wells Fargo Bank and National Bank of Commerce, before eventually becoming a homemaker.
At an early age Vivian professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Ozias Baptist Church in Camp Hill, AL. Vivian remained a dedicated member of Ozias before relocating to Birmingham, AL, where she united with the Faith Temple Church, under the leadership of Dr. Ruby Kyle. In March 2008, Vivian was led to unite with the Mount Canaan Full Gospel Church, under the leadership of Pastors Willie B. & Patricia A. O'Neal, where she served faithfully and wholeheartedly in numerous capacities, until being wedded in holy matrimony to Rodreccas Brown, July 23, 2016. To this union a newborn son was briefly born.
Vivian's faith was exemplified through her dedication to home, her family, and her friends. She will always be remembered for her generous spirit and pleasant personality. Her Christian life was just as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well and her influence will forever remain with all who knew her, especially her God-parents, Pastors Willie B. and Patricia O'Neal, and as well as her spiritual mentor, Elder Angela Brazzi, II. and two precious pets, Dakota and Princess Sheba.
Vivian departed this life unexpectedly on Friday, December 28, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Dumas Poole, grandmother, Katurah Poole, and newborn son, Wellington David Brown.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her devoted and loving family: husband, Rodrecaas Brown, and step-son Cameron Brown of Forestdale, AL; father, Elder James Poole of Birmingham, AL; grandmother, Gladys Dumas of Camp Hill, AL; father-in-law, Robert (Mary) Banks of Jacksonville, FL; mother-in-law, Deborah (Eddie) Carr of Birmingham, Al; two brothers, Daminkee (Kathy) Doss of Camp Hill, AL, and Eric Mitchell of Auburn, AL; two sisters, Monalisa (Eric) Burke of Camp Hill, AL and Jameka Poole of Auburn, AL; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
