Blaze Gabrielle Stump, was born March 7, 2007 in Annapolis, MD and was the third daughter of John Stump and Ronnetta Johnson-Stump, she joined her big sisters, Morgan and India, and was later joined by her niece Scarlett. She was known in her family as “Lady Bug”
Blaze attended Salem Elementary School in Arkansas, and was a 10th grader at Northern High School Owings, Maryland. She was a girly-girl who enjoyed dressing up and fixing her hair. She loved to
color her hair every color of the
rainbow. She enjoyed chorus, singing and dancing. She loved
the beach and watching You Tube Videos. She loved people
and being a friend to everyone she met. Throughout her life
Blaze had boundless energy and love. She enjoyed
participating in many sports like soccer and cheerleading.
She enjoyed giving back to the community by participating in
special Olympic activities with her sister India. She was a
current member of the Jack and Jill of America. Blaze was an
avid fan of Harry Potter and proudly wore the house colors of
Griffindor. She even had her own Christmas tree dedicated to Harry Potter. Blaze also loved her American girl dolls. Blaze wanted to be a mother, model, actress, a teacher of special need children and attend the University of Alabama Birmingham. Blaze departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at her home in Chesapeake Beach, MD. She was preceded in death, by her grandparents, Charles Washington, Ronald Johnson and Gertrude House, her aunt, Unjanetta King and uncle, Sean Spalding. She
leaves to cherish her memory, her parents John and Ronnetta Stump, her sisters, Morgan Stump, India Stewart, and her niece, Scarlett Stump. Her grandparents, Antionette Peoples, and Robert and Patricia Stump. Her aunts and uncles, Lasima Duncan and her husband James, Martine Johnson and Frederick Hollis, DuJuan Johnson and his wife Shawn, Josh Stump and his wife Sharon, Andy and Lesa Helms and Godparents, Austin Brooks and Chantay Lee Adaya; also, many cousins and other relatives and friends.
