Charles Lewis was born on September 19,1965 in Jefferson County, Alabama.
He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1983.
He was a hard worker, dedicated employee and exceled in any tasks given to him until his health started to decline.
Charles was strong willed and had a passion for life. He was determined to live life to the fullest despite his afflictions. Charles was loyal to his family, a wonderful provider and committed to his roles as a husband, father, son, and brother. The role that gave him the greatest joy was being “paw paw”. He was a good listener, dependable, wise, and spiritual. Charles wanted things to be in order.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Edward, and his brothers James Earl and twin brother Carlton.
He leaves behind to cherish his fond memories: A devoted, loving, and kind wife Wendy. She will lovingly miss Charles and remember his beautiful brown eyes. Faithful, caring, and devoted daughters Amber (Shaquille) and Whitney. Supportive sons Felix (Kaneshia) and Charles Jr. A nurturing mother who gave him unconditional love, Emma. Two dedicated sisters Charlotte and Ida. Nine grandchildren that he adored. A host of aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
