Cynthia Augusta was born in Fairfield, Alabama on December 19, 1956, to the late Grace Parker and Earl Augusta. On Monday, March 7, 2022, Cynthia Augusta exchanged her life on earth for God’s promise of a magnificent reward of eternal life in Paradise.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Parker; father, Earl Augusta; siblings, Abraham Parker, and Mardi Jones.
Cynthia confessed Christ at an early age at Lily Star Baptist Church in Fairfield, Alabama under the leadership of Reverend J. S. Myles. She later became a dedicated member of True Love Church under the leadership of Reverend Eddie J. White where she served faithfully on the Ushers Ministry. She was educated in the Birmingham Public School System and was a 1975 graduate of Ensley Magnet High School. She retired from a long career at St. Vincent Hospital.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her love and memories: children, LaQues (Michael) Jackson, Leticia Augusta, and Brandon Augusta; grandchildren, Yasmine, Kiara, Kameron, Tyesha, Jakaila, Thad, Jeremiah, and Jacob; bonus mom, Geraldine Augusta; siblings, JD Parker, Patricia Farley, Roderick (Cathy) Jones, LaVenice (Edmund) LeDoux, Brenda Hall, Kenneth Augusta, Vonda Tatum, Earlica (Harlan) Williams and Jasmine Augusta; a special daughter, Natassia Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
