David James Hall was born February 19, 1947 to the late Jessie Hall and Carrie L. Hall.
He gave his life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend S.C. Perryman at Mount Zion Baptist Church. He remained a faithful deacon, choir member and servant of the Lord until his death.
David was a graduate of Brighton High School and later attended Miles College where he received his B.S. degree in Social Work.
He entered the United States Army from 1969 -1975. He served and sacrificed his life to protect our country during the Vietnam War. After active duty, he was a salesman at Pizitz Store for many years. He departed his life to meet his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 at the Birmingham VA Medical Center. His family and friends will celebrate his life and cherish his kindness, meekness, wisdom, humor, and the love for his family and friends.
David Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Carrie Hall as well as his sister, Dr. Pearl Lue Hall. He leaves to cherish his memories: two brothers, Roderick Lee (Sandra) Hall of Midfield, AL and Jessie Jerome (Linda) Hall of McCalla, AL; one aunt: Mrs. Maggie B. (James A.) Brown of Montgomery, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and members of the Mount Zion Baptist Church.
