Obituary
Dorothy Jean Holt was born on November 26, 1942, to Clinton and Carrie Lou Holt. She attended A.H. Parker High School and UAB where she studied Political Science. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member of Lily Grove Baptist Church. She was employed and retired from medical records at the Hicks ENT Clinic. She departed this life May 24, 2022. Dorothy is survived by her children: Rodney Dewayne (Hope) Holt, Sr., Debra (Willie) Smiley, and Keitha Randolph; Siblings: Annie Holt Johnson and Cecil Norris; Nieces: Sheliah Hull, Stephanie Johnson, and Chantay (Eric) Adaya; Grandchildren: Rodney Holt, Jr., Tanisha Reed, and Akezia “Sade” Wine.; Great-grandchildren: John, Johnquez, Johntavis, Noel and Joel Peterson, and Aaliyah Wine; and a host of nieces, nephews, out of state relatives and friends.
