Erica Monique Braxton

Erica Monique Braxton was born on February 25, 1981 to Alvester Braxton & Linda Sherer in Birmingham, Alabama. At an early age, Erica confessed Christ and united with New Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Revered Hugh Foster. She actively served on the Usher Board, Youth Choir, Nurses Guild and served as the Secretary for Sunday School. She is a graduate of the 1999 graduating class of Holy Family High School and received her Batchelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT in Birmingham, Alabama. She was employed at Princeton Baptist Medical Center and worked faithfully with 1918 catering company. She loved working with people, making others laugh and spent her past time shopping and traveling.  She departed from earth to Glory on December 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and fur baby Romeo. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her mother and best friend, Linda Sherer. uncles: Edgar(Quintella) and Eugene, aunts: Juanita, and Yolanda (David Jr.), a host of cousins, other close family and friends.
