Mr. Eugene Jarmon Jr. was born December 23, 1947, to the late Reverend Eugene Jarmon Sr. and Late Mrs. Mary Jarmon.
Eugene accepted Christ at an early and joined Rising Start Baptist Church in Flat Creek, AL. In later years he joined Mount Zion Baptist church in Adamsville, Alabama under the leadership of Reverend Leo Dawson.
Mr. Eugene Jarmon graduated from Dora High School and attend Walker Tech currently known as Bevill State Community College.
He served 10 ½ years in the United States Army, serving twice in the Vietnam war and worked in the Jefferson County School Systems until he retired.
On November 26, 1979, he was united in holy matrimony to Verna McShan.
Eugene leaves a legacy of five sons: Michael (Marie) Jarmon, Waco Texas, Anthony (Melissa) Jarmon, Eddy Texas, Siederick (Patrice) McShan Sr. Inverness, Alabama, Marcus (Rebecca) McShan Orlando, Florida, and Justin Jarmon Washington, D.C. Together they have 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings Mary Brown, Louella (Jill) Kelley, Willie Jean Johnson, Arthur (Thelma) Jarman Sr., Ike Jarman Sr., Bennie Miles. He also leaves behind his in-laws Bernice Baynes, Patricia Franklin, Mary Ann Woods, Willie Franklin, and Tyrone McShan, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousins, friends, and a special Godchild Adriane Cochran.
Preceding him in death, parents, Rev. Eugene Jarman, Sr. and Mary Jarman, sisters, Barbara and Linda Jarman, and grandson, Sean Jarmon.
