Jackie Raymond McClendon was born March 24, 1980 and left this world March 7, 2018. Jackie was 37 years old. We lay him to rest March 12, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery next to his Mother, Sandra Lee McClendon and Grandmother Bezzie Mae McClendon. He was also preceded in death by his Grandmother Iris Colwell. Jackie leaves behind many loved ones. His Father, Jack McClendon, Arthur and Holly McClendon(brother and sister in-law), Jennifer McClendon and Jarius Robertson(sister and brother in-law), Raymond Holcomb(grandfather), Donna Jones(aunt). Nieces and Nephews; Jarius, Jaxon, Naomi, Noah, Camilla, and Kaya. He often would say his nephew Jarius, “lil Jay”, was his exact replica and twin. He was a proud uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
Jackie graduated from Hueytown HS, class of ‘98. Some of his closest friends were Darryl Webb, Jason Zelinski, Tara Shipp, and a friend who has been waiting for him on the other side, Rusty Webb. As a child he played ball and as an adult he worked hard, spent his evenings playing video games, and he was an avid Auburn fan all of his life. Jackie kept in touch with nearly every friend he ever made, he was and is well loved.
