Jeanetta accepted Christ at the age of 10. She joined the Greater St. John Baptist Church in Powderly, Alabama, where she was an active member of the choir. She married the late Douglas Lee Elliott on May 10, 1969. She attended Ullman High School and graduated in 1968. She also worked and retired after 32 years at Venture Foods in Tarrant, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Adell Phillips; Siblings, Thomas Phillips, Jr., her twin brother Gene Phillips and Gwendolyn Brandt; and brother-in-law, Douglas Elliott
She is survived by her loving daughters, Antonia (Antwan Williams) Elliott and Tamika (Percy) Abrams; Grandchildren, De'Juan (Ashanti) Adams, Antonio Elliott and Kynsley Elliott; Great-Grandchildren, Aurbaney Price, De'Juan Adams, Jr., Antonio Stoute, Jr. and Karter Adams; Special Cousins, May Lois and Vickie Fields; Best friend, Benita Cole; and a host of other relatives and friends.
