Marolyn Long

Marolyn Long was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 16, 1962 to the late Johnny James Spivey and the late Thelma Long.

She attended Birmingham city schools. She accepted Christ at an early age. She gave warm hugs to people she met and she liked talking with people. She was willing to extend a helping hand when she saw someone in need of an extra hand. She was spontaneous and spirited! Marolyn was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt, but her greatest devotion was to her son Thomas Long whom she loved dearly. 

Marolyn was preceded in death by her older sisters Jacquetta Fells and Lavern Long.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: Son, Thomas Djuan Long; Brother, Roderick Long and Sister, Carla Long. Maternal Aunts Shirley Wilson and Carolyn Mixon. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A host of cousins, other loving relatives and friends!
