Paulette Worthey Lacey was born July 7, 1949 to the late Terry and Eugene Worthey in Maplesville, AL. She matriculated through Maplesville Jr. and Maplesviile High Schools, Chilton County Training School and Selma University. She was a former member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the late Rev. B.W. Dawson. In 1974 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Louis Lacey and moved to Montevallo, Alabama and joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Dr. Rogers L. White. She served there diligently in the roles as a Sunday School Teacher, Missionary Society worker and choir member under Pastor J. Adams until her death on January 25, 2019. She leaves to cherish her many memories her beloved husband of 45 years, Louis Lacey; Sons, Joseph Lacey and Kevin (Audrey) Lacey; Daughter, Lois (Johnny) Allen; Sisters, Arlinda Tripp, Maudean Gaddis, Norma (Larve) Legrand, Naomi (James) Scott, Hattie (Charles) Alexander and Dorothy Worthey; Sisters-in-law, Sarah Lacey and Katie Burnice; 6 Grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend
