Roy Harris Obituary

Roy grew up in Ensley (Little Italy) and was a graduate of Ensley High School. He was retired from US Steel and was a member of Mulga Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, James Harris; Mother, Melinda "Lindy" Reeves; Siblings, James, Norman, Robert, Jessie Mae Rice and Margaret Hester; Long time friend, Norman Antonio. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Vickie Harris; Children, Kelly Cooper and Bobby (Cindy) Harris; Grandchildren, Tommy (Leslee) Cooper, Sam (Ashley) Cooper, Tory (Makayla Tuttle) Cooper, Kayla (Chris) Thrasher and Benjamiin Harris; Great-Granddaughters, Sophia and Lily Thrasher; Great-Grandson due in May, Eli Cooper; Brother, Charles Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.
