Sandra Faye Edwards

Ms. Sandra Faye Edwards was born December 7, 1959 in Birmingham, Al to the late Rev. Frank and Juanita Edwards. She was baptized at an early age at Smith Temple. Sandra accepted Christ at an early age. She was a very loving person to many. She had the heart of a servant who didn't mind helping others.She later joined Mount Canaan Full Gospel as a Minister.  She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1978. Took a career for Department Youth Services and transferred to Department of Human Resources in 1996. She worked for DHR for 26 years.  She departed this life on Friday June 28, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Frank and Juanita Edwards, her brothers Anthony Carl Edwards and Rev. Reginald Edwards, and her great nephew KaDarrius Jefferson.She leaves to cherish her memories: Brother Julius Edwards and Sister Gaynell (Sylvester) Allen. Cousin/Sister and one of her best friend Barbara (Jack) Green.Sister-In-Law Tina Edwards. Bonus Siblings: Brothers Willie Robinson and Gerald (Linda) Menefee. Sisters Lori Menefee, Cassandra Allen, and Vannessa Jones. Ten loving nieces Tryouna Thomas, Sylvia Turner, Sylcelia Allen, Shauna Berry, Jessica Allen, Tiauna Jefferson, Enjoli Riddle, Kalia Thomas, Laelah Riddle, and Aja Allen. Seven devoted nephews: Kevin Edwards Sr., Jeffery Allen, Sylvester Allen Jr., Kevin Edwards Jr., and Bryan Allen. God mother Mary Polnett and best friend Lisa Peoples.
