Sophia Nicole Zeigler

​Sophia Nicole Zeigler was born April 14, 2003 in Ocala, Florida to Mr. Herman Zeigler Sr. and Mrs. Tessie Lee Zeigler.

​Sophia confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and she was actively involved at three campuses of Church of the Highlands in the Birmingham area. She enjoyed volunteering in the nursery ministry while attending Church of the Highlands.

Prior to Sophia attending school in the Hoover City School system; she attended primary school at Jefferson Christian Academy (JCA) in Irondale. There she excelled with academics but also was a cheerleader. 

Sophia was educated in the Hoover City School system where she was a part of the Law Academy, Diamond Dolls,Debate Team, and Varsity Bowling Team. Sophia was also involved with Hunter St. upward bound softball, Hoover Rec basketball, and Hoover YMCA volleyball. When she was not playing ball she enjoyed fine dining, studying German as a second language, and traveling. Sophia was recently accepted into the sonography program at Wallace State.

On August 3, 2022 Sophia received her free gift of eternal life. After 19 years on earth she now resides in Heaven with her father Herman Zeigler Sr., her beloved grandmother Ms. Anne Harris and grandfather William Henry Harris.

Sophia leaves to cherish her amazing memories: Her loving, devoted, and caring parents; Mrs. Tessie Lee Zeigler (Mom),  Larry Finn (Dad), brother Joshua (Whitney)Ealy, nieces Jaedyn and Nylah, special friend Jason Crawford and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, step brothers, sisters and friends.
