Timothy Sean Ackers, affectionally called Timmy or Tim, was born August 22, 1984 to the late Angela Ackers and Byron Taylor. Timmy graduated from Wenonah High School where he enjoyed being a member of the JROTC Drill Team. After graduating from Wenonah High School in 2002, he attended Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama. Timothy work ethic made him excel in the various jobs at Chic-fil-a, Winn Dixie, CVS Caremark, and Brighthouse Cable. He recently held the position of Access Center Representative at The University of Alabama Health Services Foundation, P.C. (UAB).
Timothy accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior under the leadership of Reverend William J. Sankey, Sr. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Brighton, AL. Timmy loved to sing and began singing in the youth choir at Friendship and he also served on the Usher ministry under the leadership of his mother, Angela.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Angela Michelle Ackers and grandfather, Charles Ackers, Sr.
Timothy departed this life Sunday, November 17, 2019.
Timothy leaves to cherish his precious memories: Father Byron Taylor, Grandmothers Ruth Ackers and Rosie Taylor, Sister Jasmine Rychelle Ackers-Crum (Charles), and brother Tevin Demetrius Ackers; nephew Caleb Ackers and niece Zarreah Ackers; six aunts and three uncles: Wanda J. Crawford of Akron, OH, Jacqueline F. Roach (Michael) of Huntsville, AL, Talmadge Crawford, Jr. (JoAndra) of Forestdale, AL, Charlotte D. Williams (Horace), Midfield, AL, Sandra Ackers-Hendon (Forrest), Hoover, AL, Charles Ackers, Jr., Brighton, AL, Demetrius Ackers, Birmingham, AL, Stephanie Ackers, Hueytown, AL, and Patricia A. Ackers, Huntsville, AL; five great-aunts, two great-uncles, host of cousins and friends.
